Electromagnetic protection system (EMPS)

Field tests of T-72 MBT with EMPS

Initiation of the magnetic fuze mine:
a) when the vehicles moves forward (the mine is ahead);
b) when the vehicles moves forward (the mine is aside);
c) when the vehicle moves backward (the mine is behind)

The system is designed to protect tanks and other vehicles against magnetic fuze mines.

The camouflage kit impedes acquisition of combat equipment and eliminates the use of precision-guided weapons.

Probability of detection by day and night viewing devices and sights, TV systems and seekers is reduced by 30%.
