Steel Grade 44 combines high strength, ductility,
toughness and feature good resistance to impact loads.
It is achieved not only by the steel chemical
composition, but also by using new melting and thermal treatment
methods.
The steel is manufactured as 2…15mm thick sheets.
The steel is widely used in body armor, civil
car armoring and bank equipment protection.

ability up to 5 hits into the area of 30õ30mm.
Ultrahighstrength bulletproof steel Grade
56 is made by a unique thermomechanical treatment method
which ensures the combination of high strength, ductility
and toughness in high-carbon armor steels with the carbon
content up to 0.4-0.55%.
The steel is patented (Patent RF No. 2015491).

Steel 56 ensures increase of bulletproof properties
of protection systems by15-20 % as compared to standard domestic
steels Grade Ts-85 and 44.
