PROTECTION OF COMBAT MATERIEL

One of the conventional fields of activities of NII STALI in which it has been engaged since 1942.

The company deals with design of materials to protect against fragments, bullets, projectiles and missiles, as well as with design of armor patterns including combined and spaced armor, armor structures containing ceramics, explosives, utilizing electric power etc.

Along with protection against conventional threats, the company can offer solutions for protection of combat materiel and personnel against nuclear effects and precision-guided weapons.

The company also places emphasis on upgrading the protection of standard combat vehicles in service in different countries, mainly the vehicles produced in Russia (T-54/55, T-62, T-72 MBTs; BMP-1/2 and BMP-3 AIFVs).
